Scope and acceptance

Hammerank is a non-commercial community service for comparing strategy-game campaigns. By using the site, you agree to follow these terms and the privacy notice.

Hammerank is publicly available in beta. Submitting a run requires a Hammerank account authenticated by Supabase and acceptance of the rules presented during submission.

Leaderboard rules

• A leaderboard is established for each combination of legendary lord and victory type.
• The lowest turn count is the best result. Tied results share the same rank and the next rank reflects the number of players already placed (for example 1, 1, 3).
• The campaign must use Immortal Empires, Ironman mode, Legendary campaign difficulty and Very Hard battle difficulty.
• Solo Immortal Empires, Ironman, Legendary campaign, Very Hard battles, maximum AI stats and anti-player bias at 100. Escalating Wounds and all six unusual locations must be enabled. End Game Scenarios and Crisis Scenarios are optional and may start at any turn. Owning DLC does not affect eligibility.
• Defeating an End Game Scenario awards 10 extra rating points, once per campaign (10 maximum across short and long victories). Crisis Scenarios award no bonus. The bonus requires a save proving victory in the final scenario battle.
• The only allowed mods are Hammerank, Just Good UI Mod and Rotate Lords and Heroes. All are optional. Owning or using official downloadable content does not affect eligibility.
• Manual imports apply the same gameplay requirements. Missing, inconsistent or unverifiable settings prevent a new publication, even when the player configured them correctly.

Account, player name and accuracy

An account may be created with an email address and password, after email confirmation, or through Google. Supabase manages authentication, passwords, sessions and account recovery. Hammerank does not receive your plain-text password.

After the first sign-in, including with Google, you must choose a unique Hammerank username. This username is stored in the site’s D1 database, appears publicly in the leaderboards and remains separate from any name supplied by Google.

Hammerank may award badges linked to the account, early submissions or the number of validated runs. You choose in your profile which badge is displayed publicly. The Creator badge and its Twitch or YouTube link are added or removed by administrators after verification.

You are responsible for information submitted through your account and for the accuracy of your public player name. Race, lord, victory, turn, version and settings are derived automatically from the file when its format is supported. The file is then discarded without being retained.

You must not impersonate another person, disclose a third party’s confidential material, or use Hammerank in an automated, abusive or fraudulent manner.

Transient save analysis

You retain any rights you hold in submitted content and must have permission to transmit the file temporarily for validation, without unnecessarily including another person’s personal data.

Submission authorises only the transient technical operations strictly needed for automated analysis. Hammerank acquires no right to store, share, distribute or offer the save for download. Its binary content is discarded as soon as the check finishes.

Only the accepted result and the technical metadata needed for ranking, duplicate prevention and validation audit may be retained. They can be withdrawn with the run from the profile.

Prohibited content and conduct

• malicious files, deliberately corrupted files or files using a misleading extension;
• unlawful, hateful or threatening material, or material infringing another person’s rights, privacy or security;
• spam, service overload, circumvention of limits, unauthorised-access attempts or automated collection;
• deliberately misleading results, evidence or reports.

Removal and administration

Hammerank may correct, hide or remove a result, its metadata, a player name or report that breaches these terms, creates a security risk, infringes a right or interferes with the service.

Removal requests or disputes may be sent through the “Report an omission” form, identifying the relevant run and reason.

Service limitations

The service, its statistics and validator are provided as available. Hammerank does not guarantee that they are error-free or that every save, game version or downloadable-content combination is supported.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the publisher is not responsible for harm caused by use that breaches these terms or by false or misleading information supplied by a user. Consumer rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change with Hammerank’s features or applicable requirements. The date at the top shows the latest update. Material changes will be communicated by an appropriate method. Mandatory provisions of applicable law remain unaffected.
